上不去往往就敗在語言上。　科學也是一種交流的過程，　不懂語言，　不能有效地溝通，　是中國學生很大的劣勢。

美國小學到大學沒有排名，　每個學生有自己的特點，　量化的分數不能說明很多問題。　等學生考慮未來工作發展的時候，　學校也會幫助他們發現自己的特長。

我們應該為中國民族驕傲，　中國人確實挺聰明，　但中國人對人類科技的發展貢獻不大，　中國人將來在世界上要有競爭力，　如果沒有創造力只有廉價勞動力是不行的。　以前我們的文化鼓勵民族自尊心比較多，　今天我們應該反思我們缺什麼，　怎樣在下一個時代的世界競爭中有所作為。
